I sat to take a break before we hit the road for Albany Game Day X, and i could totally fall asleep and not awaken until tomorrow am.  Too bad i have to drive for 3 hours before that can happen.

Anyway, the State of the Boxes:

Living Room: Done except for things that need to stay out until we move

All the random non-clothing drawers in the house are empty, save the kitchen and toolroom.  Here is what's left to be done, and the timing of how i hope to accomplish it:

Thursday: finish all non-clothing, non-kitchen, non-tool packing.  This is doable.
Friday: make major inroads on clothing, perhaps finish?

- my stuff needs removing from closet - DONE
-the trunk needs to come out
-the rest is scholar's stuff

-All nonclothing items have been removed
-A few decorative things missed my scrutiny - DONE

I put 3150 miles on my car in 18 days.

My life is in total turmoil, and i have a metric fuckton to accomplish this coming year. So why not add yet another lofty goal?

Before Gencon2009, i will own a hybrid.

Been busy.  Nothing specific, just life.  Decent number of showings and open houses, to the point that we can get the house from "i had houseguests and holy crap there are a lot of beer bottles on random surfaces" to sparkling in around 3 hours now.  Though, the reward for doing ( Read more... )

Had a showing tonight, with very short notice.  Yesterday, we assembled a bad, and went to sleep with amounts of cardboard and packing peanuts strewn around that would put a moving company to shame.  Plus we got halfway done laundering ALL of scholar's clothes after unpacking them, so they were in piles around the spare room.

At 11.30 tomorrow morning, i have another open house. I planned PLENTY of time to do the cleaning, also timed so that the vacuuming would not be a pain for the downstairs neighbours on a Sunday morning.
