I think I might like Firefox best. Strangely enough, I'm having trouble signing into my ff.net account. I know I'm typing in the correct password and e-mail but it keeps telling me that I need to return to the login screen. So, I'm going to make a change of web browers. I'm looking at comparisons online, trying to deside. But, I want to know what you guys think would be good to use.

Okay, I install newest OpenOffice.  It seemed to be working fine but I just noticed that the 'spellcheck' feature isn't working.  At all.  There should be red squiggles randomly all over the page because I haven't added all the Japanese names to the dictionary but there isn't one.  Even an intentionally misspelled word did not illict the red ( Read more... )

I notice that files open up a lot faster.  This pleases me.  It doesn't feel quite so much like a dinosaur as before.

Quick question for OpenOffice users, should I download version 3.0 now?  Or should I wait until it has been out long enough for the kinks to be worked out?  I'm using version 2.2.1 (which is a little bit out of date) and would like to know.

My computer is old (I'll write a little fic bit for the person who guesses how old and gets it right).  I am going to replace it soon.

The question I have is, what should my next computer be, a desktop or a laptop?  Desktops have more power and greater harddrive space but laptops are portable.  I'm not crazy about how laptops are going widescreen.  ( Read more... )
