Fanfiction, Spook Me, and NaNoWriMo
Well, I've started writing a little bit of fanfiction again. Admittedly, it is for the annual spook_me fanfic challenge. But that counts, especially since I tend to only write one truly horrifying piece and the others are whatever I'm moved to write.
The fandoms I chose for this year:
Detective Conan/Magic Kaito (because I always do one) (not started yet)
The 500 Kingdoms by Mercedes Lackey *grins* (not started yet)
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (in progress)
We'll see how they work out. I really need to get moving on the writing. These are good warm up for NaNoWriMo, which is less than a month off. I don't have much of an idea this year. I kind of want to try writing a mystery (maybe a murder) again. The first time I tried to, it ended up Slice of Life with a little death. Not what I envisioned. Or, I'm tempted to pick out a couple of tropes from TV Tropes. That idea has a lot of appeal.
Anyway, I need to go back to the fic. I've just barely started and I'm using this entry as a procrastination tool. :)
