State Of The Ysabet, pt. 2
Just an update, very quickly. It's been a week and a day and my mom hasn't woken up yet. If things haven't changed by Wednesday afternoon, I will be flying out on Friday to be with my family. We haven't found out much since I last wrote-- the only really big change was that we learned she'd had a severe stroke following her surgery, probably very shortly afterwards.
Nothing much else to say, except thank you to those who've offered sympathy. I listened to a few other stories this weekend besides mine and came to the conclusion that, no matter how hard this is, there are much harder things. So-- thank you, and if your life's in bad shape right now, I sincerely hope it improves. Nothing ever, ever stays the same.
