That's Nice
Well, now I'm unemployed.
I was made redundant today, along with about two dozen other people. It doesn't come as a huge shock or surprise as it could have been I suppose, as the CEO of the company has been sending emails for about the last week saying that the company was in a bit of trouble. Although I was a little surprised of some of the other people who were let go, including some guys who'd worked their arses off over the last couple of years which really makes me wonder how the rest of the company is going to carry on now without their expertise.
Oh well, I guess I actually kind of relieved in a way. Maybe even a little grateful that this is finally going to get me off that fence I've been sitting on and start to actively pursue other avenues of opportunity. So... yeah. I am hopeful that better days are ahead and are only waiting to be found.
