i have done lots and lots and lots of research into cheap flights and hostels and logistics, and i think i've found a little holiday destination that'll be right for me.

in all honesty, i was trying really hard to get into the whole Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg area, but this is fantastic enough. i've always had a thing for this country, it being one of Mom and Dad's most beloved, and the city's history and culture genuinely intrigues me.
now all i have to wait for is Dave's okay that i can come stay for a few days, and then i'm set to book everything! today, the combined cost for the flights (not including the train to London) averages out to a measly $180. i think i'm going to faint. gotta book those flights as soon as possible, and then i can find a reasonable hostel. yes yes yes!
