Dear Dragon:

There are events going on today, and I don’t suppose you will read and understand these letters till your 13-ish, I really have no idea if you will ever read these, or if they will mean anything to you. However incase they do, I wish to include current events of your family.

Yesterday, we went to the hospital to visit your Great-Grandfather, who was going in for a dangerous procedure. All went well, thank the godz, I really would like you to get to know him. He was always important to your father, but your father was never good at showing it. I have a lot of fun stories I can tell you about your Great-Grandfather.
You are walking!, you are falling down a lot (especially when you are tired), but man do you get around these days!! Today you also did something to make your Dadada LAUGH! First I suppose I should tell you, your great aunt Sandy (#5 of 7 of Great Grandpa’s daughters (your grandma is 2 of 7)) has been babysitting you a bit lately. More than I like (for I love having you around me as much as possible) but your mom and I find we need time for ourselves as well.
With that I know she is teaching you as well and I believe this leads up to what you did today during breakfast. I was feeding you, you took the spoon away from me, held it in your fist, put the correct end in in your cereal (upside down), and lifted the spoon to your nose. You allowed me to turn the spoon around and to direct your hand to your cereal and then to your mouth twice, then you fought to try it again solo... this is when you flipped the bowl over toward yourself and made a fantastic mess! Your Dadadada did not help the situation much as you had me laughing, which quickly took you out of your frustration, and you returned my laughter, giving you the idea to really spread your cereal around... oh well, one “failed” attempt at feeding yourself, but it was a bonding experience, as with the mess you managed to get it on the other side of your bib, getting your outfit even messier than if we went without the bib. It should be considered an art as to where all you got your cereal, and yet, I searched the surrounding area, it would appear you kept it to you and the seat, pretty slick that!
Thus far, you have never failed to amaze me.
We just had dinner, where again you took the spoon away from me, so Mamamama gave me another spoon, which you took with your other hand. This time, we may have gotten more on your tray then in your mouth, but how you take turns with your hands, and how you allow me to help you eat with your right, while you experiment with your left, then I take your left, while you experiment with your right. We did have a bit more success this time around, and we kept the mess to one side of your bib, your tray, your face and arms. Fortunately, Mamamama did capture some of this on video.
In the off chance I didn’t say it enough around the time you are reading this, 愛してる (Aishiteru (Japanese)), Я тебя люблю (ya tiba lublu (Russian)), Je t'aime (French), Ich liebe dich (German), I Love You (Don’t recall what language this is).

I love our time together, you keep my cheeks hurting I am smiling so much:
Dadadadada

P.S. Thumb to your temple, not… your temple?! Hey! I saw that, put it back to your temple and out of your eye, you stinker! :-P
