It's been a while since I have written about my baby girl Shamsa. She is 15 months old. Time surely flies for babies. One moment they are this squiggly, flailing thing and now she's all over the place. I still find it amazing that she's here with us. This person who didn't exist years ago is right here now. Finally leaving the hospital after almost a week there. Baby is wrapped up like a burrito and we were all packed in the cab on the way to my mom's house. A unanimous decision has been made that Shamsa and I are to stay there for a month to recover. We couldn't return to our apartment building yet because I couldn't climb all the way to our unit.
