I had my first annual physical examination last Wednesday since I arrived here in the US. I did not know that a Pap's smear was default. Usually this exam is OPTIONAL in the Philippines at least in all my experiences with annuals. But there I was and being poked internally. It was uncomfortable but not painful. Finally leaving the hospital after almost a week there. Baby is wrapped up like a burrito and we were all packed in the cab on the way to my mom's house. A unanimous decision has been made that Shamsa and I are to stay there for a month to recover. We couldn't return to our apartment building yet because I couldn't climb all the way to our unit.
