Lakers and Adventist parties
I don't know what I'm going to do about all of these crazy Lakers fans... especially since they lost Game one tonight and I will have to console people all day long tomorrow. I really don't care about basketball -- there, I said it, please don't hate me too much.
I am also amused because I did go and be social and watch the first half of the game tonight at one of my coworker's houses -- I called and asked if they wanted me to pick anything up for snacks, drinks, etc. and they said it was taken care of. I got there to a house of 5 guys (the girls showed up later, with kids in tow), 7 pizzas and the drinks were "on their way" with another coworker. When the drinks arrived, I was expecting a case or two of beer and some sodas -- this is sports we're talking about, right? Nope -- 7 two liter bottles of soda and a bottle of white cranberry peach juice. Now I have no problem with not having beer, but wow, these Adventists party hard, let me tell you. Hee hee.
