Season 2, Episodes 5 & 6 - WOW!
I only managed two more episodes tonight, but boy, oh boy were they good ones: Simon Said and No Exit. I got sidetracked at Superanaturalwiki.com and I think before I watch more, I'll go there and read about everything I've watched so far. What an awesome site for all kinds of information.
Simon Said - The first thing I thought was, What happened to Jared's arm? I found out at Supernatural Wiki. He broke his wrist filming Bloodlust, the poor guy. The episode used REO Speedwagon at the beginning. Yay! I love that band. The cinematographer sure does love extreme closeups. I can just about count the pores on the actors' faces. Sam's headaches make my head hurt, too. He looks to be in such agony when he has visions. The damn was very scary. Remind me to never visit a damn, or at least walk across the top of one. I love the Roadhouse; it has a personality of its own. And I can't recall ever seeing a show that featured mind control...pretty scary. I liked Andy. Do we see him again?
No Exit - This was a truly scary episode for me because there is no way on earth I'd crawl through a tunnel or squeeze through small spaces in walls. I don't like tunnels, caves, or any kind of small spaces where I could be trapped. Being a miner is the worst job I can think of. Loved Cheap Trick's "Surrender" at the beginning and Foreigner's "Cold as Ice" played in the car with Ellen. Very appropriate considering how she was acting. Both of these episodes featured bands I love. Jo sure is a pistol; such a cool character and I loved the scenes with her and Dean. I like Ellen, too. I'd be afraid to look through a slot like Jo did for fear of getting poked in the eye. ewww! I'm not sure pouring cement down that sewer entrance would stop the demon? What do you think? I'll have to see what Supernatural Wiki has to say about that. And John was with Jo's dad when he died? That was a shock.
I may not get to more episodes for a couple of days because I really want to read about everything I've seen so far at Supernatural Wiki. I have to give a shout-out to supernutjapan for telling about that site.
