I don't know what they're editing in the suite a few feet away but from the sound of it (and the footage I snuck a peek at) it's some sort of arty soft-core porn. Which is of course the cue to take my break.

All this week I'm working nights for another show. Started yesterday. May I just say that cable kicks the shit out of the Big Five? (Based on just last night of course.) Not only did they pay a little more for the same work and same hours, they encouraged a dinner break (!), are wayyy more relaxed and not as anal about transcribing every little ( Read more... )

Hoorayyy... I was able to leave work after only two hours! (Legally!)

Hoorayyy... I drank three cups of coffee today to prepare to stay up late!

Hoorayyy... Wow it's 2 AM and I can't fall asleep! (Like when drinking Sparks, that awful alcoholic energy drink, where you're drunk but hyper. Now, I'm tired but awake. You know?)
