Today sucked, tomorrow will be better.
Evening in the park was nice... I can't believe I work so close to Bryant Park and I hadn't taken advantage of their summer film series!
Next week: Psycho! (last week of the series anyway)
I would get there early since arriving at 4:59 to claim a spot barely allowed time to gain lawn space. You know how cartoons portray epic, biblical swarms of locusts swallowing everything alive in two seconds with a huge WOOSH? Blankets and blankets of locusts? That was the lawn today. And, I'm sure, other Monday nights of late. I'd seen this phenomenon once, the opening night, I happened to be relaxing at one of the tables overlooking the lawn. When the speakers announced 'Go' I promise you, in 10 seconds, there was no grass to be seen. Just like in a cartoon. Crazy crazy.
So anyway, bring food and drink too since there sure as hell isn't room to leave either.
