The play went well tonight. A little rough, but we'll work out the kinks for
tomorrow night's performance (first one down). Thanks to everyone who came!
heatrose is in town!! I'm going to introduce her to my friend Beckett over a picnic lunch tomorrow since they're each other's doppelganger and also both extremely cool.
Eh what else? I'm very tired. And I went to bed at like 10 PM. I nearly missed all the excitement of the giant flying cockaroach that zipped around the living room. Yup. GIANT! This is the first time ever that such a thing has happened. I mean it was huge. I thought it was a giant moth at first, it must have been four inches or something. And this is how tired I was: I shuddered, then went to sleep and let my roommates (ok just Jordan) deal with it since she was totally up for it anyway. (thank G-D!) Eventually it flew out the window... hopefully to its DOOM. Don't worry, it didn't touch anything. I would have scrubbed that shit down anyway had it happened. I'm not as bad as my mom who, no kidding, screams bloody murder at the sight of a dead roach, but hey, I'm entitled to freak out a bit. Lizards I'm cool with (we get them all the time back home) but not roaches for sure.
One last thing: The Power of Facebook: Joan, who recently joined facebook, reconnected with her old college buddy Neil after 14 years of no communication. How? Through facebook. Of course. Maybe there is something to that 'hey! Didn't I know you in elementary school?' thing. There were no problems between them, they just lost touch. And now he's staying on our couch this weekend. Well then! Alright! Not the best timing, but alright, cool by me. It helps that he's chill and pretty nice. I think we're all going to be out and about anyway.
Time for sleep.
