Holiday End(ed), The
Just as soon as I have written, the "mini-holiday" is coming to an end. When dawn breaks, I'd be up and about travelling to my work place probably catching approximately another precious hour of sleep.
Did a quick reference to the calendar, the next public holiday is on 2 Apr (fri).. & the next is 1 May (Sat).. wonder if there will be a off in lieu for this? *chuckles*
I spend half of today with my long-time friend & Ryan (though he napped after he came back from class). If I hadn't proceeded with the visit, the most likely activity that I would have done would be to nap too! lol...
Managed to finish reading Double Cross and returned the book the day before yesterday. Since the last of the Twilight saga wasn't available and not forgetting that I have a book (2 books actually!) waiting for me to read at home, I didn't get any "new" book to read.
Quite to my suprise that Astons have occupied a space at one of the coffeeshops in Ghim Moh. It reminds me pretty much of Botak Jones's outlet in neighbourhood estate in Clementi. The time I ate Astons was the farewell lunch I gotten close to 1.5 years ago. Only the location was at Cathay Bldg (Handy Road). If you don't mind not eating in an air-conditioned place with the normal restaurant ambience, this place (Blk 19 Ghim Moh Road) is satisfactory. As the food is afterall, pretty much of the same standard as eaten at the crowded queue-line be it along East Coast Road or the outlet at Cathay and Suntec.
