this will likely become a series of impressions about today's exciting exciting meal. i think i'm just going to keep commenting on this instead of have a bunch of entries. yes, self, this makes sense.
anyway, impression #1: pickled ginger = bleh. not exciting. but colorful
impression #2: apricot mango wasabi sauce = mmmmm very exciting! fun to eat by the spoonful
impression #3: very happy to have water chestunuts and carrots and rice. am so sick of rice pilaf from a box. much happier with crunchy white goodness. much anticipation, as i haven't actually eaten that yet, as the appetizers are barely done.
unrelated: as can be seen from my previous sentence, i realllly enjoy the word "as." too much, i think, but oh well.
also unrelated: i am thrilled to have comedians other than bill cosby on my computer now. dane cook and mitch hedberg are hilarious. don't know about David Cross yet, but i'll find out soon enough.
