The Yarns, Emerald part 1 (gen 6 is here, folks!)

After her guests left, I sent Emerald into town to her cousin's clothing shop! She tried on some outfits, and bought a few things.



And had a little chat with cousin Sprout.



And also determined that the cashier (Lister, by katu-sims) didn't want to kiss her :((



Very disappointing indeed.



(But she smoothed things over)

Emerald: So, my parents are TOTALLY into this thing called recycling.
Leo Jared: Oh really? Do they compost their garbage?
Emerald: HOW DID YOU KNOW?! *amazed*



Leo Jared: Well, I've been to your house a lot, silly. And thought I saw some compost bins around here somewhere.
Emerald: Oohh yes, Papa says that our own compost is the best for the garden. *plus*



Emerald: And speaking of, I've got something I've been wanting to give you.
Leo Jared: ORLY?

Emerald: I've always admired you, you're always here! So loyal!



Leo Jared: Awww, thanks!! *swoons*

(But of course that doesn't stop her from stealing smoochies from other guys!)



And Peat's obessession with the ballet bar pays off with maxed enthusiasm!



Frog Prince bes studious and does his homework. (Well, mostly to keep up his grades so he can get a job, but, ya know.)



And he ROCKS those drums.



(I knew he would, he watched long enough!)



After all that searching, Emerald finally got a job in the Music career track. This is how she came home the first day ...
Emerald: GRRR I can't believe I got a promotion! HOW DARE THEY! I really liked helping at concerts :(( I was awesome

But you need to reach the top dear-heart!! And earn the big bucks!!

Eldora: This promotion is SO EXCITING!! Now we'll get to actually PLAY some music, I can't wait!!



Emerald decided that what she couldn't wait for was a smooch!

Emerald: YES!! *excitement*
Another promotion! Way to go, girl XD That's a better reaction!!



She finally got in touch with the hot cashier from Sprout's shop. She invited him and a friend (Rimmer Dork, also by katu-sims) over for the afternoon.



Rimmer: So, you got a promotion?
Emerald: Yep. Now I play the piano for studio recordings.
Rimmer: That's cool!



Emerald: Have you ever thought of a woman as a blooming daisy?
Lister: Uh...yes?
Emerald: Great!!



Peat was outside for so long he froze :((



I think this is about when I locked the door to the ballet bar (cuz it's outside).



Emerald: Just so we're clear, guys. I can't love just one man, there are too many out there!!



Isabella: So true, I'm not even a romance sim and I love at least three. Who can ignore the attraction!?
Rimmer: Wow, who is this girl?! She's awesome!
Lister: *nods* So many beautifuls out there to love.
Emerald: Exactly!! So, you're cool with that?

Emerald: zzzZzzzZZ ...piano...concerto....

Leo Jared: *concurs*



Emerald: So what's it like, to have so many best friends?
Leo Jared: Awesome.



Leo Jared: Especially if they're as loveable as you! *snuggles*

Emerald: Maybe that was just nothing. I probably just ate something bad. *looks down* My boobs are still the same size, couldn't possibly be that I'm pregnant! Nope.



A sweet old couple giggling and canoodling on the couch on a sunny day.



They had Frog Prince snap a picture of them. SO CUTE!



This is one of their favorite pastimes (you know, when they're not out raking, weeding, watering, and trimming!)



Emerald: HALP?!



Emerald: *gasp* I'M PREGNANT?!
Yep!! You are my dearest!! And a very glowing pregnant too!
Emerald: ... I guess this will make mama and papa happy. They've only been bugging me for AGES about settling down and getting married. And I KNOW mama wants grandbabies.



But does pregnancy curb her romance ways?



course not! (We're back at #9 folks!)



Spring has sprung! Peat spends the lovely afternoon getting reaquainted with his trees.
Peat: MY fault? How could you say such a thing? I was here, but you refused to talk to me!
...
Peat: Well maybe you were frozen. It was winter afterall.



Peat: We've done this before, silly Orange Tree - Fall, Winter, and now it's Spring again. Notice the little flower on Mr. Lemon Tree?



Emerald: I heard you on the piano the other night, papa. It sounded really great! You should come into my studio sometime, we could record it!
Peat: ... I don't know, wouldn't that keep you from your work?
Emerald: Playing and recording music IS my work, papa!! Did you forget?



Peat: Oh, yeah. Heh. Must be getting old.



Peat: That's good then. You and your sister sure are working interesting jobs!! And I thought they were all boring and hard work!
Emerald: *leaves*



No explanation needed. (That's Lister Dork again.)







Emerald: Well this is fun!



Lister: And how about THIS?!
Emerald: *holds on tight*



Emerald: So, you must have noticed...I'm pregnant.
Lister: I noticed, and I think you're beautiful!!



Emerald: Awww, thank you!



Awww, he's snuggling up close. *loves*
