The Yarns, Emerald part 2

Glen (an old friend and love) invited her out on a date and then did this autonomously!





I think Emerald appreciated that :)



Emerald: Please, take this. As a token of my love for you.
Glen: Aww, you love me!



After dancing, wooing, and music-ing, Emerald got hungry.



Emerald: I just get really hungry these days! I could eat four of these bowls of cereal.
Glen: Makes sense, I mean, you are pregnant after all.



Emerald: True ... *minus*



Glen: I don't mean that's a bad thing!! It doesn't bother me at all that I'm sitting here eating cereal with you in the middle of the night.
Emerald: But does it bother you that I'm pregnant?



Glen: Well I don't want any babies, they cost a lot of money!
Emerald: Really?
Glen: Yeah! Clothes and toys and more mouths to feed!



Emerald: No meant, you really don't want any babies?
Glen: Nope.
Emerald: But it doesn't bother you that I'm going to have a baby?
Glen: ...should it? *minus*



Emerald: No!! I mean, not like it's YOUR baby or anything.
Glen: I figured not.
Emerald: We both know I like to sample a little of this and a little of that, but this baby? Not yours.



Emerald: But this kiss ... *blows* is ALL yours, darlin.





..a few hours later...



Emerald: Maybe that romp with Glen was a baaaad ideaaaaaa! *cries*



Emerald: A GORGEOUS BABY BOY!



Emerald: Oh hi brother. Hold this little baby for me, will you?



Emerald: ...cuz I think there's more!



it's another boy!



World? Welcome Custard Yarn.



And Gold Yarn.



Frog Prince is really smitten with the babies, and is one of their most dedicated care-givers. Not that they were short on that or anything.



Emerald: I wish you were here now Gramma, to meet my little boys.



Emerald: I hope I can live up to the legacy you and Papa have left me. I don't know if I'll be as accomplished as you, but I hope I can be at least a little successful.



Emerald: *whispers* And I hope I can raise these boys right.



Just as she suspected, her mother was THRILLED with her grandbabies.





And for the most part, Allison and Peat stopped nagging Em about settling down and getting married.



They settled happily into their grandparent years.



But they haven't lost that love spark yet!!



Emerald ventured back to work shortly after the twins were born, leaving Peat and Allison to take care of the twins.



And she got promoted!! She is now a ~~*ROCK GOD*~~ (top of the music career track, way to go Emerald!)



Frog Prince really likes the 'rock god' guitar and speakers she was able to bring home from work XD



Oh yes! A proper view of the living room fireplace area. The picture of Allison and Peat has been replaced with a full family photo.



We stop over at Russet's house to see that he has reached his LTW -- Education Minister! Yay! We also came over because it's time for Seedling and Grasshopper to grow up.



But I dont' think Seedling wanted to :((





At least Grasshopper looked okay with the situation.

(see? actually though, it took like 4 tries to get the picture delivered properly. the guy would walk up, put the picture down, and it would disappear. WIERD. I finally had to put up a wall/fence so the delivery dude would put it on the grass. lol)



I love photos a little too much. (ty Bon Voyage!)



Seedling and Grasshopper enjoy one last pancake breakfast with the family.



And throw some hula dance in for good measure.







Then it's time to say goodbye.
Sprout: *hugs* Goodbye, sister!



Sprout: Bye, Grasshopper.
Grasshopper: Tata, but don't worry too much sister, I'll be around.
(Grasshopper and Seedling moved out, leaving Sprout at home to take care of the parents and her store downtown.)



And with that we're back at the main house to see Emerald dashing off for work in a hawt looking outfit. Have fun, Em!
Emerald: I will *winks*



And she must have! She brought home a friend!





(who can blame him, who could resist the HAWT ROCK GOD EMERALD?!?!?!?!)

Believe it or not, it's time for twinsy birthdays!



Emerald: You're cute!



Aww, Allison made a cake for the twins' birthday, but we never got the chance to throw a party. Lots of people were over though, so there was celebrating and cake eating anyways!



Frog Prince gives the other twin a celebratory birthday toss. (I think I forgot to mention that he got a job in the Entertainment career, he's a ...mascot thing.)

Gold: hawooooO!! You cannot resist my cute! Please! I'm hungry!

Who could resist that face?



Yeah, I thought not.



Mama to the rescue!
Emerald: You really are a dear, aren't you?! *snuggles*



Emerald: You have your Grammy's eyes, little Gold. But definitely your father's nose. DEFINITELY.



Time for nighty night!



Emerald: *pats head* Good night little Custard.



(erm, good morning...already!? Silly twins not coordinating their sleep/wake times!)



Frog Prince: Is it time now?
Indeed it is!



Frog Prince: *sings* Oooooooh



Frog Prince: yeah!



Frog Prince: YEAH!!! *strums concluding notes*
