The Yarns, Peat part 12

Three days of birthdays = lots of cake, lots of makeovers, and a goodbye. Are you ready??



Old!Peat and Old!Russet get the party started with fascinating conversation.



Peat: And you do it like this!
Russet: *stares*



Russet: HAHAHAHA!
Peat: I was funny!



Allison: Everyone is getting old. *sigh*
Enchanted: *waits*



...but she feels a funny tingle in her toes before everyone gets there.



oooh, points for growing into a color appropriate outfit there, Enchanted!



Time to fix her hair. She didn't like this style.



But this is better :D



Enchanted: Ahhh, back to my beautiful self!



Emerald takes a time out for a wish ...



and a smooch with Curtis (simmericangirl).



The next morning before the younger two head to school, I have them pose for a family picture. It makes me happy.



Peat: When did my baby get so big? And when did she get that funky eye shadow?!! *stares*
Enchanted: *stares back*



She checks the mail and is thrilled with the love letter she found there. I decided not to tell her that it was for Emerald. lol.



lol! She has pink tights!





Enchanted: Heeey! Papa!! I've decided!
Peat: Decided? Decided what?
Enchanted: I'm off to see the wizard!!
Peat: ... that was an option?



Enchanted: Goodbye, Papa. I'll come back to visit.
Peat: *squeezes tight*



Yes, you need to hug your mother too.



Enchanted: Goodbye Mama.
Allison: Goodbye!



Enchanted: Goodbye sister!
Emerald: ??



And on her way out, Frog Prince's bus pulled up. Just in time!



Frog Prince: HAI Enchanted!



Enchanted: Goodbye, little froglet.
Frog Prince: But I just got home?



Frog Prince: *confused*



And she follows the yellow brick road to seek her fortune elsewhere. Goodbye Enchanted!



That evening our little froglet grew up!



I think Emerald must have helped him with his new hair :D Isn't he handsome?

Peat still takes good care of him. A little food, a little sponge-down, and a little whistle is all a gerbil/hamster needs, right?



We pop over to Russet's house to see how they're doing. In case you forgot, here's Seedling (romance).



And Grasshopper (popularity).



Russet's doing really well, moving up the career ladder. I think maybe he got a promotion here, maybe College Senior Professor? (I lost track, sorry)



And Sprout spends a lot of time at this sewing machine. The attic room that the twins used to sleep in has been turned into her sewing room and bedroom.



Seedling and Hutton (bondchick_nett) sitting in a tree...



K-I ...



Seedling: Emerald gets to kiss 2890375 boys and I can't even get one!! *rages*



After Russet gets a big bonus at work, they purchase the clothing shop downtown and Sprout jumps on the opportunity. (She's renamed it "Sprout's Styles")



Celery (simgaroop) is just one of many customers that first night.



And to top that successful day, it's time to grow up!



SO PURDY!! *loves*



Harper (quellasims): So, like, there are two kinds of boys...
Seedling: *eager* The kind that will kiss me and the kind that won't?



Back at Sprout's Styles ...
HAI Katie!



Katie B First of all, your products are all out of stock! Second of all, if I get hungry while I'm shopping ... what am I supposed to eat?



Sprout: I'm sorry Grandma. I'm still new at this!



Katie B: DO BETTER! *growls*



Let's restock!! The mirror's and dressers are popular, as were the teddy bears she made. Yay!



Russet starts the morning right, a bowl of cereal and maximizing a skill - woot!



Back at Peat's house they're busy raking up the season's leaves before it snows.



The outside of the house gets a little remodeling - a fence and a row of hedges.



Good thing they raked all those leaves, cuz the snow is here! Along with Hutton, showing our Emerald some love.



Oh look, cousins dancing in the kitchen - it must be a birthday party!



It's the hula line up :D





After a good hula, the crowd gathers around the cake.





And it's quite the crowd.







The tingle starts in her toes...



and ends in confetti explosion!



On her way to the bathroom for a makeover, Emerald greets adult!Unk.



Makeover 1 (it doesn't stay long)



But it does stay long enough



for a smooch. (Gotta rebuild all those teenage loves - there were nine.)



Peat: So, now that you're all grown up Emerald, whaddya say to taking over the house? *dances*
Emerald: *looks down at feet* You sure, Papa?
Peat: Yeah! Your sister left, and your brother is still too little. Your mama and I would like you to be our heir...you're in charge!
Emerald: Oookay ... Why do I feel like he doesen't really want me to be heir?

So there you have it folks!! Next time on the Yarns: Emerald takes over complete with smooches, woohoo, and house remodeling! Stay tuned for generation green XD!
