Bah humbug
Ugh. This effing sucks. We have no electricity up here in East Texas so we all had to sleep in like 85 degree heat last night. There's no guarantee we have power or water in Houston or even have an apartment left to go back to OR can even make it back into Houston to begin with. We're looking up hotels in Houston but again, there's no guarantee the hotels even have power/water and we keep trying to call random ones but get no answer and don't know if that's because the phones are down or because the whole damn place is closed off with no electricity. I'm sick as a dog because I'm allergic to one of my sister's dogs.
I just want to go back home. I want to make sure it's not raining inside my apartment right now and destroying everything I had to leave behind. I want there to be some sort of electricity so we can have the A/C because living without A/C in Houston in September is like a death wish. I have enough water to get by, just not taking any showers and stuff, but just for drinking.
Not to mention I missed my chemo appointment Friday and MD Anderson had alot of damage and appointments are cancelled until further notice so I don't know when I'll get my next treatment.
