Stupid damn hurricane...
We're going to be evacuating tomorrow. This thing just keeps turning more and more towards Galveston and it's forcasted to get up to a Cat 4 tomorrow so will probably make landfall at least as a high cat 3 and I do not want. I'm sure this far inland in Houston, we'll just get alot of wind and rain but I really don't want to take the chance of a. the electricity going off and us being stuck in 90 degree heat until they get it back on or b. this thing making a direct hit on Galveston in which things would be much much worse for us.
So, we're heading out at 6 AM tomorrow to beat both the rush hour traffic and the people who will be evacuating from further down on the coast. I'll be up in Jacksonville, but my parents still don't have internet access up there so I'll be online sporadically. I'll have to head to my aunt's house early Saturday morning to use her internet and find a stream for the United/Liverpool game. Damn Hurricane Ike, I'm supposed to be at the pub to watch this game!
So yes. I have some DVDs, my school books, my laptop, and some clothes. Here's hoping random tornado doesn't flatten anything. Giggsy's all confused like "what's going on? Why are we loading things up? Wait, where are you going with my food bowl you evil woman!"
