I just finished watching the Women's Beach Volleyball gold medal match from last night. How much of a force are Misty May and Kerri Walsh? Not only are they undefeated in like.... 6 years or something.. but they've gone 2 whole Olympics without even losing a match much less a game. I just love them so much. They are always so happy and I was just beaming at them smiling and jumping around, squealing into the camera during the interview, and running around the stadium hugging random people. Absolutely fierce. Best beach volleyball team evar. Male or female. Trufax.




And let's not forget about our soccer girls. First women's back to back olympic champions!!! Got a bit of revenge on Brazil, grrrrrr. *hearts them so much* So gutted for Abby to miss this though. :(




So. On the slate tonight. US vs Brazil in men's indoor volleyball. Rogers and Dalhausser in the gold medal match of the men's beach volleyball (COME ON USA, SWEEP THE BEACH VOLLEYBALL!). The US women indoor volleyball are playing Brazil sometime soon... maybe tomorrow? And really, the only track event I care about.. the 400 m, because Jeremy Wariner, who won the gold in Athens, went to Baylor. Not that I have like school pride, but it's always cool to see someone you went to school with win a medal.
