I'm not complaing on your work, because I apprecciate it a lot. I'm a fan of yours, you know :D

It's only... I have this dream about Higashino Keigo novel's to be more appreciated in the western world... he is not translated, you can find a couple of his book in Italian translation actually but they are going out of print because nobody knows him. And in English there are a couple too but one of them it's hard to find (I'm searching to purchase it from... a couple of years actually ;_; ) and nothing new comes to life.
So if someone doesn't know Japanese and wants more Higashino Keigo... he has to rely on people like you and on dramas... and reading your summaries to me it's good but makes me hunger about the book...

Hope I've explained my melted toughts better this time ^^

It seem like you're the one who don't get what I was trying to say, but oh well, never mind^^

Yes, its really too bad none of his novels translated to English officially, hope American/British translator would pick up his works sometime soon. (many of his novels has the Chinese version, that I know)

Oh, may I know which Higashino Keigo novel has been translated to English?

There is an American editor called Vertical (the one that also translates lot of Tezuka Osamu stuff in English *_* ) that published Naoko 6 years ago, and that edition is still alavaible. And it seems this same editor will publish or re-publish also Malice (I don't know how it's called in Japanese this one), but they are postponing the date of the publication from months actually ;_____;

Into Italian you can find also Lakeside (I loved this one ç_ç)

Thank you for the info! I checked around. Apparently NAOKO's original title is HIMITSU(Secret) and was once adapted to a movie starring Hirosue Ryoko with the same title ( ... )

I wonder if that movie was subbed, I want to see it... I also like Hirosue Ryoko so I've got two good reasons to watch it ^^

I'm totally with you, I like stories where normal people have to cope with something... they are more on the psychological side and since I've got a degree in psychology I feel them more interesting than the detective ones ^^;

Lakeside's main character is a common man, the story is setted in a house on a lakeside where three family with children are gathered because the childen have to study in order to try ad admission exam for a certain school. But something happens and the mistery goes on... and the main character wants to unveil it.
There is a movie adaptation of this by Aoyama Shinji.
