No, turning back now
I am a little bit happy, a little big worried, a bit excited but nonetheless I booked my first vendor Well, ladies I signed my first wedding vendor contract. It was a be scary at first. I was a bit scared to do it, but I pretty much love these guys and they cut me a great deal. I guess I didn't want to have buyers remorse. So, I signed and faxed it off. Going to go, charge that deposit. I saved all the emails, not sure why, but I just feel its a momentous moment. It is no longer looking at this and that and searching and comparing. I am actually booked someone and now they know that I have a wedding on October 21, 2006 and they plan to be there. So, weird. Going to put the first monetary deposit. I haven't even put the deposit on the venue yet. Long story, but basically they don't like to book more than a year out. My date is being held and the contract is drawn up, but they need to wait until August to mail it. I guess after a few more it will lose its grandness, but for now. I have to record this date. I totally forgot we booked lacour photography, www.lacourphoto.com. They do amazing work and worked with me to get me to a price FH could deal with.
Sidenote: booking mommy a plane ticket for Sept 10, since the Reem Acra trunk show will be a Kleinfelds and I want her to see me in my beauty. I plan to get it then if I still love it. Till then I am going to get my fill on bridal gown shops, so its completely out my system.
