Back in the States

Good morning,   Our flight back to Newark was delayed 2 hours and I didn't get home until 2am, then I was wired for whatever reason so didn't really sleep until like 3 or so. Needless to say, I am dragging this morning.  I have to say it was the most restful sleep I have had in days. Okay, it could have been that where we stayed the beds we hard as steel. I will do a full recap with pics later. We had great time. Malcolm enjoyed himself and the family really liked him. Everyone was buzzing about the announcement and/or the e-party invites. So people are really looking forward to the big day. Folks were not short of ideas either, but none too overbearing.  It was not a big turnout as in years past, but everyone there enjoyed themselves. My sister and I won talent night. Yes, we did a amazing karoke rendition of "Stop in the name of Love". Gotta love Diana and the Supremes.  Malcolm, won the "most helpful" award, but he is always like that. My dad took him riding across the countryside and he got several offers of people willing to show him around when he comes back.  It was a great time. Too short, but just enough of the getaway.

I may be in charge of the next reunion. The older folks are looking to retire from the planning and organizing jobs. I am thinking about it. It's every 5 years, but for whatever reason its always last minute.

This week. I plan to get the videographer finalized hopefully. Then, relax for a few more days.
