Muramasa

Thanks a lot everyone for your kind words in my prior post. I feel a whole lot better now. Complaining about it was kind of immature, I guess, but I was just so annoyed. And embarrassed. Anyway, it's great to hear your support. You guys are awesome. <3

I didn't have work today, so I played Muramasa instead. I'm on chapter six of Kisuke's story, with about five hours in and on chapter six of Momohime's with about seven hours in. Why is this game so short? ;-; Even though it's the last game I played of all my new games, I feel like it will be the one I will beat first. Anyway, I am enjoying the game so far, though it's definitely not as good as Odin Sphere was. The battle system is really fun, but the stories behind the characters are kind of vague. Like most RPGs it IS plot driven, but the plot itself doesn't seem very deep. I went through about four chapters today on Kisuke's story without even knowing, and so far Kisuke and Momohime's stories have not really intertwined much, other than random meetings at the hot spring. But nevertheless, it's a fun game. Here's hoping Vanillaware will release another like it in the near future.

Character-wise, I like Kisuke the most. I like Jinkuro and Momohime as well, but Kisuke's crush on Torahime makes him a win for me. I like the one scene where he asks the fox about his future with Torahime and then takes it back because it makes him sound like a girl! So cute, Kisuke. XD
His love story is a bit more interesting than poor Momohime's, at least to me. Here's hoping they all have a nice ending...

After Muramasa I really need to get back to Arc Rise Fantasia. But I'm in need of somewhere good to level up, as my characters are not leveled up enough. Does anyone have any suggestions of good places to level up? I just got off Weiss' airship after meeting up with Alf and Weiss there, which should tell you how far I am.

Watched some of the edited Card Captors today. I am downloading the complete series in Japanese as we speak, so I thought it would be fun to re-watch some of the English TV dubbed episodes while I played Muramasa. I watched the one ep where Sakura and Julian/Yukito go into the star filled room at the high school festival. If I remember it correctly from the manga, this is where Sakura tells Yukito that she likes him, and here Yukito tells Sakura that though she does like him, he's not the one she likes the most; and that his special person is Touya (rargh! shounen-ai XD). Correct? Granted, if they did cut it I can understand why, but I find it a little sad. I'm a Sakura/Syaoran shipper, by the way. I like Yukito and Touya together, but only as friends since I'm not really big into shounen-ai.

It seems that Kimi ni Todoke is getting a second season. It's supposed to start in January. This makes sense as the series still has a lot of hype from the movie and the manga is ongoing. The end of the first season was a little inconclusive when it came to Sawako and Kazehaya's relationship, so here's hoping this season will tie things up. And maybe Ryu will finally get lucky!

The weather is getting colder at night. Hello, spring jacket. ;-;
