This Weekend

This weekend was my chillax weekend, after I wore myself going out to Seoul last weekend.

I played more of Muramasa. I beat Kisuke's story and saw the end. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. Though it was kind of conclusive, it didn't really show us anything. It just gave us a promise. If you know me at all and were there when I saw Metropolis for the first time, you'll know how endings like that just tick me off. XD But maybe it'll be better concluded after I beat the after story. Or at least we'll get to see them together at the ending... Geez.

I beat Kisuke's story in about 9 hours, at level 47.

Now I have to beat Momohime's. I'm at act 6, level 36 with about 7 hours and 40 minutes in.

It depresses me to think I'll probably beat this game in under 30 hours. Anyway, depending on how I like the game's ending, I might write up a little blurb about it. I can already think of things to talk about, despite the fact that I haven't beaten it yet.

So after Muramasa, I've got to go back and finish my backlog of games, including:

Arc Rise Fantasia, Fragile, Eternia, Destiny 2, Hearts, Pokemon White, Innocence, VS, Rebirth, and Code Geass.

I should probably start with ARF and then go back to Eternia once I'm finished with ARF. I'd love to finish Rebirth, but I'm stuck at a puzzle and have no idea on how to proceed. Such utter frustration. XD

I found out the other day that my cousin is trying to get rid of her dog because she "has no time for it". Considering she came through a family that had over twelve dogs so far, most of which they got rid of because the dogs had "problems" (ie it peed on the floor too much or it bit the kid), this was no surprise to me that the daughter was following in their footsteps. But it doesn't make it any less aggravating. This is kind of a pet peeve of mine; people getting rid of their pets because they don't want them anymore. I don't consider myself a tree hugger or anything, but if you made a commitment like that I feel like you should own up to it and keep up your commitment. Anyway, I hope for the dog's sake that someone takes it offer her hands and gives it a proper home so my cousin doesn't wind up bringing it to the animal shelter or something... >_<

Caught up on some of the new anime series. To be honest, anime hasn't thrilled me much lately, but I'm bored and have nothing better to do (that's a lie), so I thought I'd work on seeing what's out. So far I've seen:

Bakuman- a guy tries to become a mangaka because he has this crush on a girl who wants to become a seiyuu.
The World God Only Knows- a guy who's obsessed with love sim games makes a contract with the underworld where he has to make girls fall in love with him to remove lost souls from their bodies.
Psychic Detective Yakumo- Cat-like Yakumo is psychic and can communicate with the dead. He uses this to gain moolah.

And that's basically it. I'm not particularly excited about any of these anime. The only two anime I'm really looking forward to are the continuation of the Kimi ni Todoke anime and the Saiyuki Gaiden OAV. Gaiden was my favorithe part of Saiyuki, so I'm looking forward to seeing it on the screen at last.

videogames, muramasa, anime, rl
