Now, the questions:

From miladygrey

One, Three, and Nine are in fact trapped in the throes of a zombie invasion. Who among them survives and why?

Betty would panic despite herself; she has good sense, but it usually takes a while to kick in, and I’m guessing the zombies act faster. Angela stands a chance of locking herself in a Jeffersonian vault in time, but let’s face it - she’s probably wearing heels, and that makes it hard to run. Nina Sharp, though? Two words: ROBOT ARM. Also, she probably set the zombies loose in the first place.

Two, Four, Six and Eight are on a reality show. What kind of show would it be, and who would win?

Hardison, Dumbledore, Mitchell and Don: Intriguing. I’m going to guess that this is The Amazing Race. Hardison is competing with Parker, because he wants to get closer to her and also because Eliot says he’s saving himself for Survivor. Dumbledore has chosen Harry to compete with him, but will not tell Harry why. Mitchell would rather be competing with Cameron, but someone’s got to stay home with Lily, so he’s talked Claire into trying it. Don has considered who at the agency would be most helpful in a crisis and has cannily chosen Joan. Mitchell and Claire are eliminated in the first round, because Phil keeps interrupting Claire with calls asking where things are in the house, like ketchup, the washing machine and his own shoes. Don/Joan and Hardison/Parker compete much better, but Dumbledore’s not above using magic, which means he and Harry walk off with it. Unfortunately, the host turns out to be Voldemort in disguise.

Of Fifteen, Eleven, and Five, who would the Tenth Doctor choose as a Companion, and who would he leave to the tender mercies of the Daleks/Cybermen/Slitheen?

Ten would quickly realize that Sue Sylvester will eradicate the Slitheen on her own within a couple of hours, thus she needs no help. He’d rescue Liz but quickly realize that she would probably sell him out to the Master if the Master had a supply of really delicious gyro sandwiches. Jeanna, however, is probably decent Companion material: Pleasant, even-tempered and able to deal with weirdness, if a bit oblivious from time to time.

From jessejholland

15 and 10 are going to a high school prom. Chiffon is involved. Why?

Sue is serving as chaperone, a task she richly enjoys, as it means she gets to expel students for drinking, dancing badly, or wearing stupid-looking cummerbunds. Jack is attempting to protect the teenage daughter of a new CIA informant. The chiffon is the garrote Jack has prepared to kill any attempted assassins of the teenage daughter, or possibly Sue if she gets any closer, because Jack has faced down entire mercenary armies but thinks that woman is SCARY.

6 and 12 need to recover a certain pair of earrings from a pawn shop in Atlanta in broad daylight without getting caught (or paying for them.) Can they succeed?

Mitchell really, really wishes Cameron would give up the drag, because he feels like they’ve moved on to a different kind of life now, plus, he can’t just say that Cameron’s weight gain makes him unconvincing as Celine these days, not if he ever wants to get laid again, but he feels like Cameron should know it. That said, if his baby is going on stage, then he is going to look AMAZING, and those are the most Celine earrings ever. He goes to Hikaru with an elaborate plan to break in, which is derived mostly from repeated viewings of “To Catch a Thief”; Hikaru rolls his eyes and simply beams the earrings out.

3, 7 and 11 get a chance to choose one special superpower, and Legion of SuperHeroes-style codename. (Boy, Girl, Lad, Lass-required) What's their power and codename?

Betty Suarez would be totally committed to doing the most for peace and goodness, so she’d choose super strength and call herself something corny like Justice Girl. Her outfit would no doubt be something to see.

Martha Jones is a little cannier about the dangers of the universe after her experiences with the Doctor. I think she chooses the power to detect and eliminate temporal anomalies, the better to blast the Master or whoever never slips through time in an effort to muck up the works here on earth. She calls herself Time Lass because it amuses her.

Liz Lemon chooses the power to make gyro sandwiches out of thin air; it’s an impulse decision, and yet she never regrets being Gyro Girl.

From rheanna27:

4 is writing an agony aunt column in a magazine. 6 writes in with a problem -- what is it and what advice does 4 give in response?

Mitchell writes in, curious to know how to get Jay to be more accepting of him and Cameron. Not that Jay does that badly, but he’s still visibly uncomfortable at times, and Mitchell is worried that Lily will pick up on it as she grows older. Dumbledore suggests that Mitchell disguise his homosexuality as batty eccentricity and simply never say anything about it until after Lily’s grown up.

From marinarusalka:

Aliens want 3 and 11 to have sex in order to save the galaxy. Will they go through with it, or are we all doomed? How do they handle the morning after? What do 1 and 8 think about this?

Betty is acutely uncomfortable but willing to do it if the fate of the whole galaxy is in the balance. Liz wants somebody to buy her dinner first. Don pays for dinner on the condition that he gets to watch, or possibly participate, if the aliens are game. Nina, meanwhile, does not care, because she is too busy negotiating with the aliens for their technology.

2, 9 and 15 are in a lifeboat in the middle of the Pacific, with sharks circling all around. How do they survive?

Sue first attempts to throw Angela to the sharks, but Hardison intervenes and explains he can construct a radio transceiver out of their cellphones and jewelry, but there is no way, no how he is going to do it if Angela gets thrown out. Sue unwillingly allows them both to live. Hardison makes the transceiver while flirting with a grateful Angela; until rescue comes, they survive by eating sushi from the fish and sharks Sue has killed just by glaring at them.

3 cooks a gourmet meal for 5. What's the occasion, what do they make, and how does it come out?

Betty’s not much of a cook, but what she does know she learned from Ignacio, so it’s probably a healthy Mexican meal. It probably comes out only so-so, except for the dessert cupcakes, which are delish. The occasion is a stumper - maybe Jeanna’s thesis somehow involved going through Mode archives, Betty helped her with it and now they’re celebrating being done? That, or Hilda’s a vampire.

From joylee56:

7 and 14 must infiltrate Sterling Cooper for the purpose of industrial espionage (time travel is available if necessary) how do they interact with the staff while working on the campaign being planned for IBM's marketing of this new fangled ‘computer’ thing?

Martha could provide a lot of helpful advice about computer marketing, but they first offer her a job cleaning up. When she points out that she has multiple college degrees, Joan looks at her somewhat pityingly and sticks her at the switchboard. Although this racism is wildly irritating, Martha quickly realizes that the switchboard is the ideal place to perform industrial espionage and thus gets the job done mostly on her own. Damon smoothly claims a position in accounts and amuses himself by doing no work whatsoever, arguing that computers will NEVER make it, convincing people the sport of the future really is jai alai, and eating Ken Cosgrove.

1, 10 and 13 are on a road trip. Where do they go and who brings what snacks?

As we have both Nina and Olivia on board, we can figure that this road trip is to one of the dimensional rifts conveniently located in New England. Jack is along for the ride because anything that could harm our whole dimension could, by definition, harm Sydney; it is also possible that Massive Dynamic brought him back from the dead. Olivia brings fruit and granola bars; Jack brings nothing. Nina has pre-arranged a champagne-and-caviar table to be waiting for them when they arrive.

From nomadicwriter:

13 and 14 are at war. What sides do 2 and 7 pick, and who wins?

Olivia Dunham versus Damon Salvatore! Now that is a worthy fight. Hardison goes for Olivia, because he is a sucker for socially awkward blondes, plus vampires have given him the heebie jeebies ever since he first saw “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein” as a small child. Martha, wholly unimpressed by Damon, picks Olivia as well. Damon puts up a good fight, but with the combined powers of expert con men, UNIT, Massive Dynamic and Walter’s anti-vampire machines on her side, Olivia wins handily.

10 and 12 are set up on a date. How does it go, and who out of the rest of the list was responsible for setting them up?

Jack and Sulu are fairly sure that a mistake was made somewhere, which they mutually admit right away; after this, they drink a couple of scotches in relative silence, which Sulu finds awkward and Jack finds restful. Only Sue Sylvester could have found sadistic pleasure in this setup, though it’s questionable whether either of them would have listened to her in the first place.

3, 4, 8, and 13 crash land on an alien planet. How does that work out for them, and whose fault was the crash?

Betty, Dumbledore, Don and Olivia no doubt crashed because Betty accidentally fell onto the wrong lever on their spacecraft. However, Olivia ultimately blames Massive Dynamic, because who else would’ve made the spacecraft? Don, who will someday enjoy the original Star Trek, attempts to seduce the attractive female alien leader, which leads to their all being thrown in the brig. Happily, Dumbledore spells them back home in a jif.

From raptor47:

8 is a contestant on “The Dating Game” and is interviewing 1, 2 and 5. What questions does 8 ask, how do 1, 2 and 5 respond and who does 8 ultimately choose as a date?

Don: Ladies, if I came home after a long, hard day, what would you do for me?

Nina: I’d use my robot arm to slap you around until you realized that I, too, have had a long hard day, and you thought of something to do for me. Something good enough that I might let you live.

Hardison: Uh, I think I should point out at this juncture that I am a guy, and unless this game show has shifted formats for the bicurious, a big mistake has been made here.

Jeanna: Pour us each a glass of wine?

Don’s going out with Jeanna.

From ellen_fremedon:

2 confesses to a crime 9 committed. What was the crime, why did 2 confess, and what happens when 14 appears to bail 2 out?

Hardison confesses to throwing Sue Sylvester off the life raft, something Angela did on day three, when she just couldn’t take one more comment about how she’d be so cute if she weren’t Asian. Hardison confessed because he’s sort of sweet on Angela, and besides, even if he didn’t throw Sue off the raft, he would have in about another five minutes. When Damon shows up to bail Hardison out, and turn Hardison into a snack, both he and the authorities discover that Hardison’s cell is empty. A block away, Parker drives the getaway car while Eliot hands Hardison a welcome-home Wendy’s value meal.

From silk_knickers:

If #7 and #15 were on a coffee date, what would each order, and who would pick up the check?

Martha: Well, this is awkward.
Sue: It’s Jack Bristow’s revenge for that Sulu thing. He's devious, spiteful, canny. At last, a human being I can respect ... but not destroy.
Martha: Um, why don’t we get the coffees to go?
Sue: Why don’t you buy our coffees? - and by the way, I take it black, like my soul.
Martha: Anything as long it gets us out of this faster.

From tieleen:

Five, nine, twelve and thirteen decide to start a commune in the woods. Whose idea is it, who builds the cabin, who can't live without daily Starbucks, and what leads to their inevitable return to civilization?

Jeanna, Angela, Sulu and Olivia! It was definitely Angela’s idea - she wants to create art and live in beauty and harmony with nature and not look at dead bodies so much. Sulu is ready to live in harmony with nature AFTER he uses technology to create their cabin. Jeanna’s the one who finds it hardest to do without everyday niceties; surprisingly, Olivia’s the only one who handles it very smoothly. The inevitable return to civilization comes when the vampires that mysteriously shadow Jeanna’s life also begin shadowing the cabin, making isolation in the woods much less desirable.

Under what circumstances might five and fourteen try to take over a small country?

I’m not sure Jeanna and Damon would ever attempt revolution; Jeanna’s not very power-hungry, and Damon can’t be bothered running a nation. They might, however, attempt to take over Mystic Falls’ town council - and about the only thing funnier than Damon’s current status as Vampire Hunters’ Favorite Young Lad would be him getting elected mayor. I hereby nominate this as a plot twist for Season Two.

One and ten have to steal a valuable object. What led them to it, and how does fourteen try to stop them? Do they share their plans with eight?

Nina and Jack are going to steal some Rambaldi device that helps restore the wall between dimensions. Damon tries to stop them because he is amused by chaos and destruction, and he goes after this by attempting to devour Nina; this fails because, once again, ROBOT ARM. Nina and Jack do not share their plans with Don, but Nina does put him in charge of a new Massive Dynamic ad campaign.

Who on your list would be the best starship captain, actual starship captains excluded?

The obvious pick is Sulu, but as we know he becomes a captain eventually, does he count? Going for non-Starfleet personnel, I think the absolute best captain, by a mile, would be Olivia Dunham. Martha Jones might be a good captain of a medical vessel. Jack would be a good commander in a time of war, but I’m not so sure about peacetime.

Why did seven cross the road?

Martha crossed the road because Mickey was on the other side and apparently RTD couldn’t think of any other way to revisit her character.

That meme is always so much fun. :)

Have been slightly under the weather the past couple of days -- just dehydrated and draggy - but basically all is going well. Did I mention I am going to Australia later this year? I am so excited about it I can hardly stand it; it requires all my concentration to think about anything besides, like, snorkeling.

I am still watching the Jack vid the wondrous counteragent made for me about four times a day.
