SST last weekend was excellent.

We got on site at about 8:30 Friday night, so ended up setting up in the dark, but it went okay. Then there was some hanging out at the bardic fire for a while and then bed.

I had a really good time at Daffodil this year- the most enjoyable one for me that I can remember.

I:

• got to see and hang out with all sorts of cool people who I don't get to see very often (notably sallym, catalyst75, and slavewench)
• tied for the win in the "Daffodil in any Medium" contest (with, surprise surprise, an origami Daffodil- pictures to come later)

canzonet and I spent a bunch of time over the last couple weeks painting dishes for the Year of the Encampment. The bowls and platters are our recent work- the glasses, tablecloth, and napkins were made over the last few years.

They were painted with Pebeo Porcelaine 150.
