Feeling wonderfully knackered but happy

I've just spent a great day with my Mum, Brother and his 2 kids, Nicola & Chris and Chris's friend Neel. I don't get to see the kids often, they live with their mother and relations are strained (to put it mildly), so it's great to be able to spend some time with them.
The boys (Chris is on the right)

spent most of the day on the computer, playing games and downloading vids which they sang along to, in harmony, it was so sweet. They've set up a website together, with pictures of the two of them and all the things they share a love for (mainly football and music). I'm now living in the house where the kids spent their early life. Neel lives just across the road and it's lovely to see them re-new their friendship whenever Chris is visiting. Chris is a great kid, funny and loving and mischievous and giving. I love being around him, he's just got such wonderful energy.
Nicola

is also lovely (of course). There's exactly 30 years age difference between us (her birthday is 2 days before mine) and we've always been pretty close. She's 17 and has just come back from a holiday with her boyfriend's family. He's her first serious BF (as you'd expect at just 17) and I think she spent half the day texting him and looking dreamy. :o) She's very active and does a lot of voluntary work. So much so that she recently went to the Houses of Parliament to meet her MP and get an award for all the hours she's put in. She can also be a wonderfully bratish teenager who tosses her hair and says "Whaateveer" when you try to talk to her.
They're both great kids, I just wish I could get to see them more often. Luckily my Brother's got them for the next 2 weeks and I've got the next week off work so I should be able to get some more quality time with them.

I've had a great day and just wanted to share the joy. :o)
