(no subject)
So today my family was gathered around the TV as usual and after watching a couple consecutive Adam Sandler movies there wasn't much else on, so I got control of the remote. An episode of Gene Simmons' Family Jewels was on and the description said something about Shannon and Tracy going antiquing, so I put it on.
Me: OH MY GODDDD.
Everyone: What?
Me: THAT IS HOSODA YOSHIHIKO.
Apparently while they were antiquing, Gene was filming Detroit Metal City. They had a clip of him singing Fuckingham Palace and everything! (How that got past the censors I will never know.) No clip of the Metal Buffalo, but HOSODA YOSHIHIKO. ON MY TELEVISION. I will take what I can get.
Something I learned today: You don't need to have your health card with you when you go to the hospital, as long as you get them the information at some point. Unfortunately I did not learn this until after waiting five hours for my mom to get home with my brother's health card. MEDICAL EMERGENCY FAIL, oops. He's not holding it against me or anything, but I still feel really bad about it. Not too bad to resist writing "you smell" on his cast, though.
