Disclaimer: I own Luci and Katya, and all other OCS but not MCR. The storyline is mine, do not steal. The title credit is from MCR. No using OC's without permission; though I do tend to let people use my Oc's if they ask.
Author Notes: Chapter five! Wow; I think I can do a few more part's to this. I originally planed to end it soon, but I have an idea building in my head! In times of inspiration look to the great Kurt Cobain!
Chapter oneChapter twoChapter ThreeChapter FourI was having such a peacful dream aswell. For the floor, I slept very well. Mikey told me I could have his bed; though when I insisted and gave him 'the eye's' he gave in. But, some movement just woke me up.
The light wasn't on, though Mikey's curtains were open. It was still mostly dark outside, though it was lighter than it would be at night. I moved some of my hair from my eyes and sat up, surprisingly that was the best sleep I'd had in ages. "Um, sorry."
I knew that voice. I stopped fiddling with my fringe and looked over to the source of it; seeing Ray standing there. "Mikey sent me up to get something, um he didn't say you were sleeping..."
"D-don't worry..." I said, mustering as much enthusiasm as I could; not that it was much. I probably sounded like a cat would when it finds out it's going to the vet's; that is to say, I probably sounded really sour. The awkward silence set in as I watched Ray for a while; he was just looking at me. "I.. should probably get up anyway. I'm coming with you guys...."
"Yeah, Luci said..."
"Gee and her are close, huh?" I asked, trying to make conversastion.
"Yeah..." The silence set in, and all I could hear was Gerard shouting something from downstairs, before Mikey and Luci's laughter echoed the room's. "I should.. um, I'll let you get up.. yeah." He didn't really wait for a reply, he just walked out.
Luci and the guy's had been wrong. I should never of told him, anything! I shouldn't of even asked his advice on my problem. I doubted things would ever go back to normal between the pair of us, and it really upset me. Ray was the nicest person to me, ever since I met Luci. Before that, the only person who'd been nice to me was my boss, and that was because I was his only staff. No one else would have my job, I was the only one who'd take the job down the back alley comic book store which no one ever went into.
Rumour had it, that it used to be a house. The owner went insane; driven mad by... things. I don't know, what things, no one does. All they know is that one morning, someone walked in and they saw the wife hanging by a rope from the ceiling, and the children, a boy aged nine and a girl aged four, on the floor underneath her. The husband, no where to be seen.
I had no idea if it was true or not; but let me say one thing. I hated the building by myself. The other half of it, was used as an office block they were the only other people. And evenso, when they were there, all you could rely on to know they were alive was the taping on their keyboards as they typed. It was a creepy place; it always seemed to be cold, and I refused to stay there by myself at night. Usualy, that's why I worked mornings and my boss, would do nights.
In my spare time, I'd done quite a bit of research on the place but come up with nothing. Nothing at all. It was almost as though the place didn't exsist. My boss was most probably right though; it was just a ghost story made up to scare kids.
"Kat!"
I turned my head to the door as Luci peered around, she was already dressed though her hair was a mess. "You plan on brushing your bush right?" I asked laughing.
"Hey," she scowled as she put it in place; well tried. "I'm the only one allowed to crack English jokes!" I just laughed and watched as she carried on trying to put her hair where it should be. "Anyway," she carried on. "You should get up! We're leaving in ten minutes."
"Did Mikey send Ray up on purpose?" I asked frowning.
"What?" Luci asked, as though she had no clue what I was talking about. Though, I could tell she did indeed know what I was talking about. "Okay okay, I'll tell you," she sighed, upon seeing the look I was giving her. "I sent Ray up but I told him that Mikey needed something."
"Why not send him up yourself?" I asked, raising both eyebrows.
"Why would I need something from Mikey's room?" she asked raising an eyebrow; ah, she had me there. She laughed and clapped her hands together, "Okay okay get up now!"
She turned on her heel and walked out the room before yelling at Frank to do something. I'd never seen her act so in charge of everything; I think maybe Gerard really had a pep talk with her yesterday.
I streached, and stood up before I grabbed Luci's clothes she'd left for me last night. Just a basic pair of black pants and an AFI shirt; if I remember rightly, the one she wore the first time I met her. I fixed my hair, and put a bit of make-up on before I walked downstairs; only to be greeted with Frank hugging a pillow. "It's too early."
"Frank," Ray sighed as he looked at me, then looked away. "We should go right?"
I only just noticed Gerard wasn't actually standing there with the others. "Where's Gee?"
"He said he had to do something," Luci replied crinkling her nose up then looking at Brian. "You, do have their uniforms right?" I was out of the loop here; I had no idea what they were doing for the video at all.
"Uniforms?"
"Yeah," Brian replied. "They've been sent to location before us."
"Guys," I intterupted. "Uniforms?"
"Yes, uniforms," Luci replied as everything went silent. "Move it guys! Out!"
"Since when did you get so bossy?" Frank asked as Luci pulled his pillow from his arms and hit him over the head. "Okay, so your not bossy!" he yelled as he ran out and jumped in the back of the van.
"Kids," Luci sighed as Gerard came out from his room.
"What's Frankie doing now?" he asked laughing as Bob, Brian and Mikey walked out. Ray took something from Gerard and started to walk out, though he stopped by me and gave me a small smile.
"I um..." I started, though he walked out so I didn't get to finish.
"Don't worry, Kat," Luci said as she walked past, with Gerard. "You can sit by him! You'll have the whole trip to talk."
"With prying ears... Who's driving?"
Luci held up the keys to the van and gave a slightly manic laugh. "I am! Your fate is in my hands. So, get into the van now!"
"I think you peped her up too much, Gerard," I sighed as I walked outside followed soon by Gerard and Luci. Frank was sat at the back beside Mikey, Bob beside Brian, Ray on the row in front and Gerard was in the front next to Luci. Really, the only spot I could sit in was beside Ray.I gave a defeated sigh and sat beside him, before sliding the door closed.
The drive was silent. Very, silent. No one really said much, apart from Frank half way, trying to hack Luci off by asking 'are we there yet?' "So, what is the video about?"
"We're doing a war video," Ray answered; when it showed no one else would be. "And Mikey get's to die. I think thats what Marc said."
"Mikey's going to die?!" I asked looking at him. "No! Mikey mouse!"
"Don't worry!" Mikey grinned. "I'll be fine, that is if Ray saves my life."
Luci at this gave a laugh and looked at us in the front mirror. "You'll be lucky, he knows as much first-aid as a pig."
"I resent that Luu-bi-loo."
"Luu-bi-loo?" Gerard asked, turning in his seat and laughing. "More like, Loopy-Luu."
Luci gave a sharp gasp; though everyone could tell she was only playing. "Don't insult me or I'll pull over and leave you stranded!"
"Gerard can just drive," Frank grinned; though Luci was the next to grin.
"There's only one set of key's."
"Shit," Gerard cussed, as Luci laughed again.
"Mikey mouse?" she asked, looking at me in the mirror. She was one of those, super-responsible drivers. She even went as far as not even taking her hands off the wheel; even at a red-light. "And here I was thinking he was more of a Mikey way kid."
"Hey!" Mikey frowned, then fake-pouted. "Whats with all the Mikey puns? And bad one's too..."
"Arw Mikey," Gerard laughed. "I think the Mikey way kid one is great."
"I hate milky way's," Luci said making a face. "They make me ill."
"Sugar," I laughed. "All chocolate makes you ill."
"Oh.. yeah..." she trailed off as everyone laughed. Though, I stopped when I noticed Ray was just staring out of the window. I figured it'd be awkward; but not this awkward. I had to patch things up between us, but I doubt as though we'd ever be close again. How could we? I told him I loved him, and he obviously didn't thin of me that way.
I always screw everything up!
