Watched BBC2's adaptation of
Birdsong this week. Can't decide whether Eddie Redmayne is devastatingly pretty (sufficiently pretty to spark a "Are our lead actors too pretty?" debate in... can't remember if it was The Guardian or The Telegraph) or strange-looking; spent half the time thinking, "Man, you're in the trenches, stop looking so perfect and straight-out-of-a-Burberry-photoshoot!"
Was scrolling through own personal Timeline on Facebook and carefully avoiding certain embarrassing/awkward periods of life. Felt that 19-year-old me was horrible, childish and naïve; quite damn sure that 23-year-old me will think present me is childish, naïve and unnecessarily melodramatic. Also slightly sad that I've stopped talking to some people altogether. But, you know, people change, drift apart, freak circumstances, et cetera.
