Project 52 - 4/52 - Mushroom pasta
Mushroom and thyme... perfect combi in the world.
Not that I didn't know, and I love mushroom, dunno why never tried cooking this combi before.
This isn't a follow the recipe dish. It's more of a put together dish.
Last Friday, colleague K mentioned she's going to a farmers' market and it's mushroom season so she might try get me some fresh mushroom. We talked about the best way to eat these kinda fresh mushroom. Mushroom, butter, thyme... nothing else required... Let the mushroom shine.
The mushrooms got snatched up by her friends over the weekend. As we talked about mushroom dishes on the Monday morning, and about the pasta her friend cooked, I had serious mushrooom pasta craving.
Simple yummy Monday night dinner as a result. Swiss brown mushroom, thyme, butter, a touch of cream (ok a lot of cream), parmesan, delish.
