I'm living in Japan now and it is amazing.

I have been here for two months now and it has been amazing. My heart sings every day.

I've been in Iowa for about a month now. The winter time is full of festivities--Christmas, New Years and my birthday all within a two month period. The celebrations and task of unpacking and organizing have kept me quite busy. My first day of work is today. My mom keeps calling and pushing back the date she is going to pick me up. I'm just rolling with the punches. She's saying now that she should be up here Friday or Saturday to pick me up. If I would have known that I wasn't leaving until next week, I could have planned one of those sex toy parties. Oh well. No point in crying over spilled milk.

The other day while Eric was showering, he decided to use the stray hairs on his hands to write my name out on the shower wall and frame it with a heart. It was odd... but endearing.

Eric came home around 5am lastnight (this morning) and crawled into bed. We talked about his exciting 12 hour shift as a film production gopher.
