Woot! I am going to get pierced on Wednesday! I have been wanting to do this for so long. I had a labret piercing not last year but the year before, but I had to take it out when I became a corporate whore and get a job. I haven't had the money to do it again until now. I was walking past the tattoo place on Rundle Street on Saturday night on my way to the Crown and Anchor, when I noticed a sign on the window asking for piercing models. If you agree to model for them, you only have to pay $10 to get pierced. $10! And that's including jewellry! OMG! That is so cheap. The lady at the counter says that I will have to come back two weeks after that and pay $20 for a new piece of jewellry, as when the swelling goes down it will need to be resized. But still, $30 is sweet FA really. So, on Wednesday morning, it shall be done. I am also feeling quite excited today because I found a design for the tattoo I've been planning. It's old style flash that I dug up from somewhere, and with some minor modifications, it should be perfect. Then I just need to come up with the money LOL.
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was crazy as usual, as it was spent at the Crown and Anchor - my nights always end up crazy if I am at the Crown and Anchor. My favourite bunch of regulars - all in their forties, mind you - were all there and treating me like a queen (I seem to bring out the fatherly instinct in some men). My sister had a date, so I spent the night flitting around and being a social butterfly. A person was there that I didn't wish to see - I have gotten myself slightly entangled with him, and, despite everything, I can't seem to get away!
