quick question for you chemists
the plant is looking at performing its own COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) testing in-house, and I saw that I need a blender for homogenizing the sample?!
I was looking through a catalog and saw that prices range from $127 to several thousand for a freakin blender. Do I really need a special blender to perform homogenization, or can I just run out to walmart to get one for the cheap.
any help would be appreciated, even maybe just an explanation of how homogenization works. thanks in advance! :)
