Final List of Qualifying Fandoms
Thanks to everyone who voted in the fandom nomination polls! I'm cutting fandoms that had the lowest levels of interest last year, and replacing them with the winners of the poll (we have more fandoms this year than last year). Please remember that only the fandoms on this list can be written in this exchange.
Discontinued fandoms: Flight of the Conchords, Lie to Me, Life On Mars, Scrubs, Watchmen
New fandoms: Misfits, X-Men First Class, Haven, Justified, Community, Star Wars, Castle, Hawaii 5-0
I'm also sort-of adding Terminator movie-verse as an add-on to Sarah Connor Chronicles (please see below for an explanation of how this works).

FANDOMS WITH SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
**If you intend to sign up to read or sign up to write any of the following fandoms, you should read the following information.**
Star Trek, Doctor Who, X-Men, Sarah Connor Chronicles: If you list to read or write one of these fandoms, you must be prepared to do so about the specified films/series, and all of your prompts must refer to that version (ex., Jean-Luc Picard, 4th Doctor, comic-only X-Men and Arnold's terminator can't show up in the prompts, because they are all from other versions). However, you're allowed to list other versions that you like in the 'Other Info' section of your sign-up sheet, so that if your writer also knows them, she can choose to write about them instead of/in addition to last year's film. There is no guarantee of this, so be prepared to read and write about the default canons.
A) Doctor Who & Torchwood B) X-Men & X-Men First Class C) Stargate Atlantis & SG-1: These are being counted as separate fandoms. Therefore, there is a possibility that if you request to receive both of them, you'll get a crossover of these two (this has never happened, but you never know). If you find that idea potentially disappointing and don't want any possibility of that, you should formally request only one of them and your prompts should reflect that one (and then you can state in the 'Other Info' section that you like both so that your writer is free to cross the entire Torchwood/Who universe with another show, if she, too, knows both; you’re allowed to veto one character from the other one in your Other Info section). However, as a writer, if you know both, please do offer to write both.
Angel/Buffy: This is the opposite of the above duos. They are being counted as one fandom. Feel free to sign up to write it even if you only know one of them, because you can pick which one to write about. If you're requesting to read it, you should probably know both shows, because your writer may only be familiar with one of them. You can say in the Other Info section which one you know/prefer.
Narnia and Jeeves&Wooster: This is a live-action fandom exchange, but these books have been included because they've been made into movies/tv. However, canon that hasn't yet been filmed IS eligible for this exchange. Use the ‘Other Info’ section of the sign-up sheet to let your writer know if your knowledge is based only on the filmed versions or if she's allowed to use storylines from the unfilmed books. Feel free to put characters from later books in your prompts, but make sure that you have at least one that could be filled by someone familiar only with the movies.
