I've been given the role of Camp Servant for an upcoming camp in my youth group: CAMP REDEMPTION
Camp passage:
Ephesians 1:7
"In him we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of our trespasses, according
to the riches of his grace"
So excited :) Despite upcoming midterms and papers... its going to be one heck of a ride... but I don't know I am just so driven to do this. So in love! So in love with Christ :)
Weird thing too today... on wednesdays I usually get off school at 6pm and get home around 7pm... but today I finished my lab at 4pm! 4pm! can you imagine? and there was a meeting today at 6pm... and I thought I wouldn't be able to make it on time... but no, today I got back early and was even the first one to come.
Wow... this was meant to happen. I was meant for that meeting... Praise God :) More deets on the camp later. Whaaaa I'm so excited! :) Oh and I forgot to mention...
The relic of our church's saint: St. Don/John Bosco came on Friday, oct. 9 and unexpectedly is still at our church today.. and until 6am tomorrow? But yeah I was part of the EPIC choir, a 100-200 people choir.. wow what an experience. Its so awesome to have seen his relic... and pray to Don Bosco -- > he is a saint for the youth, he dedicated his service to the young and the poor. His most famous quote (which is also inscripted on the casket of his relic): "DA MIHI ANIMAS COETERA TOLLE" / GIVE ME SOULS, TAKE AWAY THE REST.
:) Don Bosco in our midst... thank you for visiting us, you're truly an inspiration.
