Mission Statement
The purpose of the Police Force is to maintain peace within the Native and Scorched society. They are responsible for the investigation and persecution of Scorched-related crimes, as well as taking preventative measures by mediating disputes between 'Scorched and Natives' and 'Scorched and Scorched'.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Officers are expected to work one eight hour shift every day they are scheduled for duty. They are to work at least six days a week, with one day off per week. The officer is free to choose this day, however, the Commander has the right to change when this day will be if scheduling issues occur.

- An officer may take more than one shift a day. However, they are not allowed to take more than two in one twenty-four hour period. The Commander will schedule these as necessary.

- The Police will respond to every complaint, regardless of how tedious it may seem.

- An officer may be required to provide protection to a person or persons. In cases of this, exact details will be provided by the Commander.

- The responsibility of the Force is only to investigate and arrest. Judgment and sentencing will be decided by Themis. As such, officers are expected to remain unbiased and are not to, in anyway, harm suspects, unless unpreventable.

- In times of emergency, all officers, unless members of the Patrol Division, are to assist the Search and Rescue Division.

- The second-in-command's orders are the orders of the Commander. Failure to uphold these orders will result in action. Repeat offenders will face suspension and/or termination.

- Reports must be detailed and turned in at the end of a shift. There are no exceptions.

- Officers must dress work-appropriate.
