Slowly returning to the land of the living...
After months of hard work and stress leading up to TempleCon 2007, we had an amazing event! :) Our attendance this year essentially tripled from last year, and during the three weeks or so prior to the event, nearly everything that could have gone wrong did so, yet somehow we managed to rise above all of those obstacles to host a great convention, which of course involved very little sleep... I've been attempting to catch up over the past few days, but of course there is still a ton of follow-up work to do, and when we are done with that there's the foundational work to be done for TempleCon 2008... No rest for the wicked...
It's a bit strange coming back down to earth after achieving something of this magnitude. There's only so long that you can ride on the highs of accomplishment and positive feedback coming in, before all of the things that went on the back-burner in the final hours before the con start clamouring for attention. I still feel like I'm wading through molasses in the wake of so much sleep deprivation, swimming through some alternate reality in slow-motion, with all of the things that I need to get done nipping at my heels, and I'm only peripherally aware of them. I think it's going to take a few days more (at least) for me to get back up to speed.
