The kitten is healthy and the vet verified that he has manx in him but he also said that his tail is long enough that he shouldn't have nerve damage and that any major manx type issues would have been obvious by now. His tale length is long enough that he is just as likely as any other cat to have arthritis in that area so we are not going to try ( Read more... )

Sometimes you need to try something just to see if it might be something you are good at and like doing. My mom told my about a website called Etsy.com that was designed for handmade and craft items. The problem with not having a job is that it encourages behavior that is rather isolationist in nature. I am fortunate in that Kurt is home and I get to eat lunch with someone. Also I get to spend time with Kurt in the evenings but it is hard to connect. He is tired and stressed from work and I want to INTERACT.

So, I am wandering through Big Lots looking for necessary items on the cheap and I stumble across Marilyn Monroe underwear. $1 a pair, my size! Excellent! As my size has shrunk to around 265lbs and new underwear was needed.
