Moving on

I guess it's interesting I don't come around much. Maybe because my therapist is decent. And I'm busy living my life. Which is a good thing. I moved to Burlington a year ago this month and this week is my 1 year anniversary at work.

A lot has changed. I'm still waiting to hear about my second interview on M5, also known as the Cardiology/Tele floor. It's a 17 week internship with tele and critical care. The floor is good I hear, and I'd be happy to go. Especially since most of my favorite nurses on my floor have left because of the manager. It's now full of travels and some new grads that are good and some new grads that really suck and are putting patients in jeopardy.

Nicole and I signed a least to rent a 2400 square foot house on Tuesday morning. we're pretty thrilled. There was only 1 option for this place so we had to sign over for May. The bad part is I lost money paying for 2 places, the good part is I can go over there whenever I want. And move as slowly or as quickly as I want. It's a great house with a big yard on a quiet set of streets way back from the main road so the kid can ride his bike on the street, and there's more kids around to play with.

The apartment stuff put a huge strain not on our relationship but added a huge stress to it, most of it was Nicole's because we have to and want to stay in Gabe's school district. This house is also a lot of space and something that will allow us not to step on each other, which with a kid and a dog is hard. But the downstairs will be for lounging around. One room is a play room and the other is the rainbow room, AKA panic room. It's an adult hideaway for whatever reason.

I've been cleaning my big place so much I've gotta go take a nap.
