So...which Saiyuki boy is the most fucked up?
Had a late lunch around 4pm with Nikki earlier and, as usual, we talked about a dozen different topics. Saiyuki's a staple topic of course, and discussing about my
7thnight_smut assignment led to me mentioning about the Saiyuki Official Chronology, which I apparently haven't shared with her (total phail). Anyway, that led us to debating which Saiyuki boy had had it worst, and it's not like I haven't thought of it before, but Nikki sure did bring up some interesting, fresh new points. Like, Gojyo's had it really bad, never knowing what it was like to have parents (or some semblance of) and Gonou-Hakkai was probably stand-offish of other people while he was in the orphanage because his own mother had abandoned him there. (And why exactly did/how could Jien leave Gojyo just like that? Which made us digress to other topics...)
