Well the meeting with the volunteer agency was interesting to say the least.  The are literally hundreds of different placements, most of which offer training and free travel expenses.  The Volunteer's officer asked me about my interests and skills and came up with a few suggestions, which was really good, because I was stumped ( Read more... )

 I have finally finished typing up my trip diary!  As the days were filled with so much driving, I had the oppertunity to write a...sizable...amount.  Even I think I go on a bit, especially in D.C!  So beware it is long...I suggest skim reading!

Short update as really need to get dressed!!!!

Have booked self on a Trek America tour in 2 weeks time!  Going to from Los Angeles to new York via the southern states and washington DC!  Am also camping!

Am insanely excited!  So very, very glad to have found something!  Methinks this will be just the kick start that my life needs!

Well the brochures came and there's some really interesting stuff.  I've scanned through them, but I just don't know what/where to go.
