Mum and dad have gone away for the weekend. Dad is swimming in this competition of some sort. I don't know an awful lot about it (I wasn't told they were going away till 2 days ago!!), just that it's a 2km between piers swim. I think he's mad in an awestruck kind of way. My dad is obsessed with chopping bits off anything that grows. He very nearly killed himself a few months ago trying to chop bits off our vampires neighbours sun blocking, 50ft high Leilandi trees, which surround our entire back garden.
