(no subject)
yay christmas holidays have started!! \(^____^)/
NOT.
because i'm still stuck in school since the school needs the technicians to be around when there's no one in the school. why? no idea.
ANYWAY~
yesterday was the last day of school for everyone else! :D it was the day after exams had finished, and all the teachers basically had to try and mark all exams before thursday... which mean for the whole day the high school students were stuck listening to teachers saying how much they sucked :P
the year 9 classes the british teacher taught had it particularly bad. he's a really nice teacher, has fun with the kids, doesn't give a lot of homework etc... then all his classes fail really badly orz like i remember one student actually got 10.5/90? o___O;; so he spent 15 mins at the start of each lesson saying how he thought most of them would have to retake grade 9 science in grade 10... the other classes seemed alright, although that might just be because i couldn't hear what they said :P
after school it was the school christmas party!! i kinda forgot about it, so i arrived really late... started chatting with this PE assistant who's essentially in the same position as me, and it was prize drawing time! :D i ended up getting some 3D crystal puzzle thing, and he got A HUGE HAMPER *_______* really wish i got it instead but oh well :P
after that, i went over to mong kok to meet with the hong kong anisoc people! :D it's been ages ;______; we had korean BBQ buffet which was cheap and alright as usual, and just chatted about all sorts of stuff :P makes me want to go back to UK, but it'll be a different experience... oh well later later 8) it was getting late, and they lived in the middle of nowhere (NT) so we just left :D
after today... it'll be holidays!! \(^^)/ well, after saturday possibly since i have kumon orz 6 day work weeks really kill... but then it's going to be holidays afterwards! and rainbow gala on sunday!! not that i have much to buy really, but going and absorbing the atmosphere is always nice :)
and i'm really not sure if i want this :x
also this is a really good comment on the whole commenting system. the LJ commenting system is just... one of it's greatest things. being able to branch out into different discussions while still seeing the common source, and nothing being lost in a whole stream of comments (aka fb) is one of the things i haven't seen any where else (except maybe the other LJ-like sites, but hey never used them before). and igrick's attitude to the whole thing is just disgusting. i'm not moving to dreamwidth soon, but this entry has a good selection of comments he's made. i cannot rage enough.
