I fear I may be getting jaded. Work is little more than a routine of generating numbers on a screen and translating them into a language comprehensible to others. I try to make sense of what the figures and colours are telling me, but it's almost bordering on Lost In Translation. My gosh, what an eventful morning. My interview for an internship with MTV Asia was this morning, 11am. The venue was not at Dhoby Ghaut as written on the company profile, but at Lorong Chuan, near Serangoon/Ang Mo Kio. So I'm going into my third week of work now, and I'm getting the hang of going in to the office at 9.30am, trying to be patient with the persistently slow CQ, and sharing work among ourselves so that we all can go home around the same time - preferably 6pm. I guess the first week of school went pretty okay. I only had a three-day week, with class on Thursday cancelled, and me not having any class on Friday.
