Holy crapamoly
Hahahaha. I'm at an Internation Nuclear Materials Management Conference in Nashville right now. It's pretty crazy. This internship I've got is wild and I love it! Nothing like I ever expected, which is awesome.
This conference is also kind of crazy. It's interesting to see all the people who are so professional at work get drunk and party, lol. Oooh man. There's no point in me elaborating since none of you know who I'm talking about, but it's definitely something I'll never forget.
I've learned a shit ton about uranium and enrichment and can definitely see myself working in the nuclear field...whether that's non-proliferation or safeguards, I haven't decided yet, but this is really a superb opportunity and I'm really glad I came down here.
Hanging out with all the other interns, finally, is also really great. I've been super lonely and now that we're all forced to hang out with each other we're having fun. I went LINE dancing the other day and had the sweetest time ever! Then I went out last night with my friend Kathleen regular dancing and that was cool too. I'm definitely going to have to start doing fun stuff in Ohio when I get back.
I've gotta run now, I'll probably update about this again after the conference or in a few weeks. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer! Come visit :)
