Having rescued the cats and now having no cats in the house as they fled into the wilds once they had half a chance my ankles are even more swollen and during the last few days I did something to my wrist. Knowing that ABC was going to absorb a chunk of cash and having got into the habit of bringing Bookcrossing Books with me on holiday I brought 5 books with me and released them all in Amsterdam. Utrecht was interesting but Monday is a BAD day to do it. Most places are actually closed. Including a chunk of the museums. Those places that are open open around 12 or 1 ish. Ah well, did the walking tour that we spent E5 on in the sparse english-wise tourist information place. Interesting place. Could spend money and time there again ( Read more... )
